Test Strips

Chlorine strength in bleach solutions will decay over time as a result of aging, light, temperature exposure, etc. RPC’s E-Z Chek® High Range (Potency) Free Chlorine Test Strips are an accurate, easy, and cost-effective means for validating the potency of diluted bleach solutions used to disinfect water system loops, external surfaces and medical instruments. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommends a level of 500-615 ppm of available chlorine be present in 1:100 diluted bleach (NaOCL) solutions. Be certain there is enough chlorine for safe disinfection of water loops and decontamination of non-porous surfaces by checking the chlorine level in your bleach solutions. It is a simple and fast 60 second “dip and read” test strip with easy to interpret color changes. This strip features one-step testing for chlorine ppm values of 100, 200, 350, 500, and 750. Use RPC’s chlorine potency test strips to be safe and confident that your bleach solutions are the correct strength and your patients are protected.
